International Brain Awareness Week is an initiative launched in 1996 in the USA to foster public appreciation for the human brain and to highlight the significance of brain research. Celebrated annually during the first week of March, this campaign sees participation from over 60 countries, with Korea joining the effort in the early 21st century.

Each year, IBREA organizes a series of Brain Education seminars across the nation, reinforcing the vital role of Brain Education and its benefits to the public.
